Yes. A clean v2 REST API exposes Events, Stories, Entities, summaries, and geographic discovery, plus an MCP server for AI agents. Every plan includes the full REST API and MCP server, including the free tier — plans differ by how much data they unlock and how many query units they carry, not by whether you get API access.

Yes. Global Energy Monitor asset registries — power plants, mines, pipelines, LNG terminals and more, with location, capacity, ownership, and status — are available through the same API, and can be overlaid on events for exposure analysis.

Yes. GDELT Cloud codes battles, protests, riots, explosions, and violence into structured Conflict Events aligned to an ACLED-style schema — actors, event type, location, fatalities, and Goldstein intensity — queryable over the API and MCP alongside the broader CAMEO+ event set.

Do you cover non-English and regional sources beyond GDELT?

Yes, and the footprint is growing. Beyond the public GDELT feed, GDELT Cloud runs its own native-source ingest for regional outlets — including Arabic and Chinese hard-news sources — resolving each article's title, images, provenance, and source language so non-English coverage flows into the same structured Events, Stories, Entities, media tone, and share of voice.

Does GDELT Cloud include social media signals?

Not in the scored data. Entity media tone and share of voice are computed over news coverage only — print, broadcast, and web — so a tone reading is never diluted by social posts. A separate social surface exists as an internal preview and is not blended into these scores; if that changes, it will be stated here and on the data reference page first.

Yes. Entity pages track media coverage, linked Stories and Events, relationships, and geographic patterns for people and organizations, and you can filter Events and Stories by plain-English geography (ISO-3 or legacy FIPS aliases accepted).

There's a free tier that already includes the REST API and MCP server. Paid plans add more of the data — facilities, government exposure, filings, macro, screening, maritime — plus higher query-unit allowances, alerts, Briefs and the Atlas indices. Prices are published on the pricing page and you can subscribe yourself; there is no sales call and no enterprise procurement step.
